Mark Yardley has over the past 10 years carved his name most notably in the electronic music scene and namely as part of the genre spanning guise of Stanton Warriors. It’s safe to say, diversity is Mark’s undoubted strength when it comes to music and 2011 has seen him focus on more ground breaking beats and bass with Stanton Warriors, developing his writing career for and with other artists and taking his role as producer to the next level.

Always searching for new ways to broaden his skill set, Mark has recently been working with breakthrough indie band Gaoler’s Daughter (pronounced ‘Jailer’s’ btw), to create mixes of their forthcoming singles. The first of which is the dark and infectious ‘St.Peter’.
“Mixed by Mark Yardley of dance duo Stanton Warriors, “St. Peter” calls to mind the sounds of their influences (Can, Echo & the Bunnymen, The Smiths) without sounding like any of them.” – The Metaphorical Boat.
“Already featured by BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson and Zane Lowe and set to feature on Gaolers’ album due for release later this year. With production credits from Mark Yardley (Stanton Warriors) the track delivers a much dancier vibe than previous releases from the band. It’s another great release from one of London’s best indie bands” – indieindie
